Tucker started out his life on a ranch in South Dakota. His dam an unregistered Quarter Horse (Too Much White) and his sire a paint bucking horse. Tucker neither had the speed to run the barrels as he was bred for, the desire to chase cows (too fast for him) or the tough life of a ranch horse. Tucker made his way to Vermont and was purchased from Pond Hill over 12 years ago. Tucker is one of the favorite lesson horses in our program. He loves children, adults and other horses….just not ponies! He takes excellent care of his riders and has won many State Championships and blue ribbons. Tucker’s favorite snacks: apples, carrots and peppermints.
