I began riding with Erin in the fall of 2010 through the Champlain College
Equestrian Club. I was so happy to learn that a local barn allowed us to come and
ride on the weekends. It was actually because of this that I decided to attend Champlain
College. I fell in love with West View Stables the first time I went. Erin was so helpful
and encouraging to us college kids both with the horses and our future goals. Many of the
Equestrian Club members are first time riders, and Erin provides them with a wonderful
first experience of horses and horse back riding.
I personally have had a couple different riding instructors but Erin is by far the
best I have had. She is easy to talk to and understand. Her knowledge is tremendous, and
her laid back attitude infectious. I feel at ease at her barn and with all of her horses. I am
beyond thankful that Erin has agreed to have us college kids come to her barn on
Sundays to ride, relax, and enjoy ourselves. I know I have become a better rider and
horse person because of Erin, and I will greatly miss her and all of the horses when I
graduate in two years.
